US-based Trinchero Family Estates has expanded its spirits offering portfolio by partnering with Hanson of Sonom Organic Grape-Based Vodka.

Under the agreement, Trinchero will serve as the sales, marketing and distribution partner for the craft organic grape-based vodka, holding distribution rights for the North American market.

Trinchero Family Estates president and CEO Bob Torkelson said: “Hanson of Sonoma Vodka will be one of the key pillars of our Spirits portfolio. We greatly admire the quality, authenticity and breadth of offerings that the Hanson family have created and we look forward to working with them to further grow and build their brand.”

The organic-based grape vodka will be part of Trinchero Spirits and Specialty Beverage division created in 2012.

In 2013, the Hanson family launched the vodka, which is non-GMO, gluten-free and USDA-certified organic.

The small-batch vodka has been distilled seven times in a hybrid pot and a column still. It contains hand-peeled and hand-chopped organic fruits and vegetables. The final expression was bottled at a craft distillery in Sonoma, California.

It is now part Hanson offerings portfolio, which also includes Original Vodka and Meyer Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Cucumber and Habanero flavoured vodkas.

Hanson of Sonoma founder Scott Hanson said: “We are thrilled to partner with Trinchero Family Estates. TFE provides sales, marketing, distribution expertise, a family-owned perspective and a collaborative team spirit that we know will take Hanson of Sonoma Vodka to the next level.”

In June, Trinchero Family Estates expanded its spirits and speciality beverage portfolio with the launch of Trincheri Vermouth wines.

This line of dry and sweet wines was crafted using traditional recipes that pay homage to the Trinchero family’s history in Italy, New York City and Napa Valley.
