PepsiCo has expanded its product range for teens by rolling out a new line of hydrating juice waters, Frutly.

The newly launched drinks include fruit juice, water and electrolytes, with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.

The company in its press release said that the new offering will be a good source of vitamins C and E for kids.

Containing 60 calories per 12-fluid-ounce serving, the drink is available in Strawberry Kiwi, Fruit Punch and Apple Grape flavours.

PepsiCo’s new juice will be available in grocery stores across the US in single flavour four-packs.

PepsiCo Beverages North America Juice Brands vice-president and chief marketing officer Anup Shah said: “With more meals being enjoyed at home these days, we’ve learned that parents are keeping their pantries filled with products they feel good about giving their families, but also that their teens want. As a father of three, I know how challenging it can be to strike that balance.

“Having hydrating drinks available that are also shelf-stable remains essential as we all continue to work and learn from home, and Frutly is well-positioned to serve as a delicious and nutritious option that both teens and their parents can agree on.”

The new juice, the company said, will address parents’ needs to provide more nutritious beverage options for their kids.

Recently, PepsiCo launched Bubly Bounce, a new variant to its sparkling water portfolio.

The sparkling water variant is free from calories, sweeteners and artificial flavours, containing 35mg of caffeine per 12oz can.
