PepsiCo’s sparkling water brand bubbly has expanded its portfolio with the addition of a new variant, called Bubly Bounce.

The company claims that its new variant is free from calories, sweeteners and artificial flavours, containing 35mg of caffeine per 12oz can. It marks the brand’s first caffeinated beverage and new line since its launch in 2018.

Bubly Bounce will be available in five combo flavours including mango passion fruit, triple berry, blood orange grapefruit, citrus cherry and blueberry pomegranate.

PepsiCo Beverages North America Water Portfolio vice-president Zach Harris said: “Bubly sparkling water was created to bring more smiles into the sparkling water category, and new Bubly Bounce takes it to the next level with caffeine.

“As more individuals seek out sparkling waters with added benefits, Bubly Bounce delivers all of the delicious flavour and hydration of the original, now with just a kick of caffeine.”

The company said that drink will be available for purchase across all major retailers and online.

It will be available in a variety of convenient purchase options ranging from 16oz single-serve cans to 24-packs of 12oz cans.

PepsiCo launched the fruit flavoured water-based drink Bubly to the market in February 2018.

Claimed to be free from artificial flavours, sweeteners and calories, the water-based drink range features flavours Limebubly, Grapefruitbubly, Strawberrybubly, Lemonbubly, Orangebubly, Applebubly, Mangobubly and Cherrybubly.

The drinks, packaged in 20oz single-serve bottles and 12oz cans of eight and 12 packs,  followed the launch of PepsiCo’s premium bottled water LIFEWTR.
