Cannabis-infused beverage maker BevCanna has finalised an agreement with Benefit Holdings doing business as (DBA) Benefit Brand Management to expand the footprint of its TRACE Products in the US.

Under the agreement, Benefit will distribute BevCanna’s TRACE line of products to a wide range of retailers in the US. Initially, the products will be distributed in the New York, Chicago and California markets.

TRACE will be integrated into the ‘Brands with Benefits’ collection of better-for-you brands to initiate partnerships with direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) models.

BevCanna president Melise Panetta said: “With demand for wellness-focused beverages rapidly increasing among US consumers, this is the ideal time to introduce the TRACE brand to a whole new demographic.

“We’re very excited to work with Benefit on launching the brand, capitalizing on their extensive network and detailed knowledge of the natural products retail landscape in the US.”

The partnership between BevCanna and Benefit Holdings will be enacted through BevCanna’s agreement with US-based Riviera Beverages that was signed recently.

It will speed up the Naturo Group portfolio of ancient organic mineral beverages expansion under the TRACE brand into the US market.

As part of this, water bottler Riviera agreed to manufacture BevCanna’s TRACE plant-based and hemp-derived CBD bottled beverages for the US and global markets.

For more than two decades, Benefit Brand Management has been active in the food and beverage segment. It works with independent natural and speciality retailers on both coasts.

Benefit has also introduced several health-focused beverages including Hey Aloe, an organic aloe vera immunity beverage, in the Southern California and New York markets.

Additionally, the company launched Pulp Story Juice and Vibras Foods Organic Punch Beverages in the US market.
