The value marked an increase of 206.01% over the previous month of $226.61m and a rise of 326.6% when compared with the last 12-month average, which stood at $162.55m.

Comparing venture financing deals value in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position, with total announced deals in the period worth $631.04m. At the country level, the China topped the list in terms of deal value at $617.19m.

In terms of volumes, Asia-Pacific emerged as the top region for beverage industry venture financing deals globally, followed by North America and then Europe.

The top country in terms of venture financing deals activity in July 2021 was the China with 14 deals, followed by the US with 13 and India with two.

In 2021, as of July, beverage venture financing deals worth $2.1bn were announced globally, marking a decrease of 248.7% year on year.
