Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance (PRWCA) has added a new web-based Trip Planner tool to its website pasowine.com, which helps users create customized itineraries based on their choice of wines.

The online platform allows users to search from over 160 Wine Alliance member wineries and select a wine tasting experience based on varietals, region’s award-winning wineries and amenities such as certifiable sustainable, tours, pet friendliness and picnic areas.

Developed and designed by Clever Concepts, Kraftwerk Design, Mike Bobbitt and Associates and Moosepoint Technologies, the Trip Planner is also added with the area’s restaurants, accommodations and tour companies, making it a complete visitor source when planning a tour to Paso Robles Wine Country.

Trip Planner is also linked with social media sites to share the information with friends and relatives.

The searched information can also be printed, emailed and bookmarked for future reference.

PRWCA executive director Jennifer Porter said this Trip Planner addresses consumer needs for full service planning based on current technologies.

"There is no other wine region or entity that provides such a complete planning tool with the same customization and sharing capabilities that the Paso Robles Trip Planner offers," Porter added.

For Paso Robles, the Trip Planner was made possible through support from the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.

Located along California’s Central Coast, Paso Robles Wine Country has over 26,000 vineyard acres and more than 200 wineries.
