Paradise Rescued, a France-based winery, has partnered with integrated MarCom agency Foundations Marketing Worldwide (FMW) of New York for Cloud9 Cabernet Franc wine in the US.

The FMW will provide brand strategy, market access and PR communications services for Cloud9.

Cloud9 is made organically and is one of the few 100% varietal Cabernet Franc wines produced in Bordeaux, claims the company.

Paradise Rescued proprietor David Stannard said while they are indeed a small vineyard, they possess an exquisite terroir in Cardan that has yielded an exceptional, 100% Cabernet Franc which they named Cloud9.

"It is our aim to share our wine with key wine collectors, top sommeliers and ultimately, to build a brand. We can’t imagine achieving all that without a presence in New York," Stannard added.

"Since the wine will be highly allocated, it is important for it to be placed into the appropriate restaurants and fine wine shops. We turned to CEO Monika Elling and the FMW team to accomplish this."

FMW CEO Monika Elling said they are looking forward to work with David, his family and the rest of the Paradise Rescued team towards building a very focused approach for Cloud9.

"It is nearly impossible to get a 100% Cabernet Franc from Bordeaux, and the U.S. market is experiencing an uptick in interest for this varietal," Elling added.

"As well, the ability to build the marketing communications strategy for an exclusive wine brand in growth-mode is a challenge we seek. With our integrated Social, Digital and Traditional Media approach, we will focus on the brand ‘pull-through’ as we drive exposure."
