Heineken, a UK-based cider and beer business, has lined up a range of new products for launch in both UK on-trade and off-trade markets.

As part of its plan, the company will expand its Moderation portfolio with the launch of two new lower ABV fruit beers from its Bulmers brand in March 2014.

The two beers are Bulmers Cider Five Fruit Harvest and Bulmers Cider Indian Summer.

The Bulmers Cider Five Fruit Harvest is made with a blend of five late harvest fruits – Apple, Pear, Plum, Quince and Grape, while Bulmers Cider Indian Summer is made with apples and a hint of ginger and cardamom.

The 2.8% ABV Bulmers Cider Five Fruit Harvest and Bulmers Cider Indian Summer will be available in 568ml single bottles.

Heineken also added a new drink Desperados Verde, a premium lager flavoured with tequila, mint and lime, under its Desperados brand.

The 4.7% ABV variant offers new Mojito flavour that sets it apart from traditional bottled lagers.

The company is also adding two new variants to its Foster’s Radler portfolio, 2% ABV Foster’s Radler with ‘Lime & Ginger’ and 0.0% ABV version of the original Foster’s Radler, in March 2014.

The latest Foster’s Radler portfolio will be available in new 440ml cans.

Heineken also launched a new Strongbow Citrus Edge, a 4% ABV Classic Cider cut with lemon and lime, to its portfolio.

Strongbow Citrus Edge will be available in different pack formats including 500ml bottles, 4 x440ml cans, 10 x440ml cans and 4 x500ml cans.

While Desperados Verde will be made available in on-trade markets, all the other new launches will be made in UK off-trade markets.
