Founders Brewing, a Michigan-based craft brewery, is set to expand its distribution footprint to four major metropolitan areas of Tennessee in April 2014.

The four areas include Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga and Knoxville.

Founders will initially roll out its year-round and seasonal products on draft, followed by bottles and specialty releases.

For distribution in Tennessee, the brewery has partnered with a network of distributors.

Founders Brewing co-founder and CEO Mike Stevens said they have been distributing in most of the states surrounding Tennessee for years.

"Beer enthusiasts in Tennessee have been growing the craft beer scene, and they’ve been patient with us. We’re excited to be able to bring our beer to them," Stevens added.

The Tennessee neighbours a cluster of states including Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas, where the brewery recently launched its products.

The addition of Tennessee brings the brewery’s total distribution footprint to 31 states.

In 2013, Founders Brewing reached 111,000-barrel production capacity, a 63% increase over previous year’s production.

For 2014, the brewery is aiming to produce 180,000 barrels of beer.
