Robinsons Brewery has announced the acquisition of Individual Inns, which comprises six pubs, for an undisclosed sum.

The six pubs, set to increase Robinsons Brewery’s pub estate, will also expand its managed estate to 20 sites.

Furthermore, the acquisition will support the brewery’s estate in Cumbria, as well as Yorkshire.

The pubs to be acquired are The Masons Arms in Strawberry Bank, The Wheatsheaf, Brigsteer, which incorporates Lumley Fee Bunk House, The Spread Eagle in Sawley, The Tempest in Elslack, The Fountaine Inn in Linton and Wheatley Arms in Ben Rhydding.

Over the last five years, the company invested £26.7m on 127 pubs as it prepares for a healthy future.

Robinsons Brewery operates more than 260 tenanted and managed pubs in the north of England and Wales.
