KURO has launched two flavoured gins in the UK market under its KURO Expressions banner.

Around 800 bottles of the new limited-release East Asian-inspired gins will be sold for a recommended retail price (RRP) of £29.

KURO’s managing director Craig Fell said: “Following a fantastic 16 months since our signature KURO Gin launched, we have been keen to experiment further and extend the story of the gin that was inspired by a skiing trip to the Hakuba Valley.

“We have specially selected the flavours in keeping with KURO’s Japanese roots, and without compromising the award-winning signature spirit and trademark taste.”

“We have specially selected the flavours in keeping with KURO’s Japanese roots.”

Featuring Peach and Cherry Blossom varients, the two expressions have 40% alcohol-by-volume (ABV) and are said to deliver sweet and fruity flavours.

The two variants share the same London Dry Gin base and contain silver birch bark, spruce needle and bamboo essences.

Fell further added: “The two new expressions are playful and fruity, with sweet notes that allow consumers to make delicious and different-flavoured gin cocktails themselves, without being a mixologist.”

“We want to introduce KURO to even more UK gin drinkers and this is a fantastic way to do it, replicating the thrill of the slopes, the beauty of the alpine surroundings and the atmosphere of the apres-ski in an undeniably drinkable gin.”

KURO’s new expressions are now available for purchase on the company’s website.
