US-based Barrell Craft Spirits has introduced its Infinite Barrel Project, a new whiskey blend created to honour the infinity bottle tradition of whiskey collectors.

Produced using a new method of blending, the Infinite Barrel Project is said to offer a new type of whiskey to consumers.

The Infinite Barrel Project was created by Barrell Craft Spirits founder Joe Beatrice and master distiller Tripp Stimson by selecting barrels based on individual flavour concentrations and blending them into a single larger or ‘infinite’ vessel.

It is reported that at each bottling stage a portion of whiskey will be removed and replaced with new barrels selected to improve the remaining blend.

“The Infinite Barrel Project marks the first in a series of innovative product lines we plan to introduce.”

Stimson said: “In bringing our latest vision to the market, we invested a lot in research and development. The Infinite Barrel Project marks the first in a series of innovative product lines we plan to introduce. We are excited about our Infinite Barrel line and anticipate it will be well received.”

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Barrell Craft Spirits is an independent bottler of aged whiskey and rum spirits, which are distributed across 35 states in the US.

Barrell Craft Spirits claims that its products are produced using different distillation methods, barrels and ageing environments.
