Wild Rose Foods has announced the launch of its new dairy brand to offer certified organic milk in the US.

Lulubelle’s Creamery will be engaged in the production of fresh milk products using the milk sourced from its Willamette Valley dairies.

It will be a combination of milk from Holstein and Jersey cows, said to contain higher fat content.

The company claims that the cows at its dairies graze on organic pastures and alfalfa grown at its Eastern Oregon farm.

Food entrepreneur Chuck Eggert launched Wild Rose Foods to expand the business from grocery to food production.

Eggert said: “We think there’s room for a local dairy committed to organic practices with a focus on flavour and innovation.

“Our goal is to make products as accessible as possible using milk from our cows bottled at our creamery. We’re creating a new model for dairy to show what’s possible with the latest technology, a commitment to animal care and restorative practices.”

Lulubelle’s milk will be available in various flavours including plain, chocolate, almond, chocolate almond and limited-edition eggnog.

Each serving of Lulubelle’s milk product is said to contain more than 16g of protein and will be available for purchase in half a gallon and 16oz sizes for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $4.99 for a half-gallon of organic whole milk.
