US-based Truett-Hurst Winery and Albertsons Companies have released a new rosé wine that is inspired by Cirque du Soleil.

Truett-Hurst Winery also partnered with Wines That Rock to make the beverage.

Under the terms of the partnership, Albertsons Companies will distribute Cirque du Soleil Rosé across the US in stores such as Vons, Safeway, Albertsons, Tom Thumb, Jewel Osco, Randalls and Shaw’s.

“We love introducing new products that surprise and delight customers in every aisle of the store.”

Truett-Hurst Winery co-founder, president and CEO Phil Hurst said: “We pulled out all the stops and assembled a dream team for this project. From our master winemakers in France, the luxurious glass selected for the bottle, to our collaboration with the Cirque du Soleil team on the elegant label, this project was a dream come true.

“The innovative wine team at Albertsons Companies worked with us closely throughout the project to make sure every detail was perfected, and to ensure this rosé will be the ‘go to’ wine of the season.”

Cirque du Soleil Rosé offers floral aromas with slightly fruity flavours, leading to a crisp and refreshing finish.

Albertsons Companies Own Brands president Geoff White said: “We love introducing new products that surprise and delight customers in every aisle of the store. We are excited to have collaborated on this wonderful new rosé wine.”

Cirque du Soleil Rosé is a limited-edition release and will be available at Albertsons Companies stores for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
