US-based manufacturer Sprig has expanded its cannabis-infused beverage line to Vermont, Washington, Texas, and Pennsylvania.

With this expansion, Sprig’s cannabidiol (CBD) infused soda line will be available in a total of nine states, including California, New York, Florida and Nevada.

Sprig’s CEO Michael Lewis said: “The first three months of sales for our CBD line were beyond our expectations. While we had initially planned for a slower rollout, we decided to add these territories because they are well-informed, progressive markets that are chomping at the bit for a high-quality, trustworthy and refreshing CBD beverage.”

The cannabis-infused beverage line includes citrus original, citrus zero sugar, sparkling lemon tea zero sugar, and melon zero sugar variants.

Sprig partnered with four new distribution companies for the expansion, including Farrell Distribution in Vermont.

Farrell Distribution marketing and business development director Ryan Chaffin said: “Our team has spent a great deal of time, looking for a partner that we felt would give us the opportunity to enter this new exciting space, CBD-infused sodas.
