Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig has introduced its new Blush Rosé flavoured cider in Australia.

Featuring flavours of red berries and a dash of sweet peach, the new blend is claimed to offer a dry finish of classic rosé wine.

Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) will be the exclusive distributor of Rekorderlig Blush Rosé in Australia.

Rekorderlig Cider brand manager Elle Lewis said: “We’re excited for the launch of Rekorderlig Blush Rosé across Australia. It has been developed as an extension of the already hugely popular and refreshing Rekorderlig cider portfolio.

“Consumption of rosé drinks is a continuing trend amongst both male and female adults and we are confident Blush Rosé will be popular this summer.”

The drink is claimed to have been developed in accordance with the taste and preference of Australian consumers.

Rekorderlig noted that its research suggested that consumption of Blush Rosé is more among rosé drinkers in Australia when compared to the general population.

Lewis added: “The inspiration for our Blush Rosé comes from Australia’s love for pale rosé wines; it will give conscious consumers an alternative option this summer thanks to its lower sugar, which has been the driving force in our point of difference, containing only 119 calories a bottle.”

Retailed at Dan Murphy’s, Liquorland and First Choice, Rekorderlig Blush Rosé comes in a four-pack of 330ml.

Earlier this month, CCA signed an agreement to take over distribution of Zubrowka Vodka from Spirits Platform on 1 October.

The latest Australia-wide distribution agreement is expected to strengthen the company’s premium spirits portfolio.
