LIFEWTR, a premium bottled water PepsiCo brand, has launched a new water beverage with functional ingredients to support normal immune function.

Branded as LIFEWTR Immune Support, the new offering contains 10% of the recommended daily Zinc value.

PepsiCo Beverages North America water portfolio vice-president Zach Harris said: “Research has shown that consumers are increasingly prioritising beverages with functional ingredients that support health and wellness, particularly those that aid normal immune function.

“Because we are committed to matching that demand with industry-leading innovation, we’re thrilled to launch the LIFEWTR brand’s first line extension, LIFEWTR Immune Support.”

LIFEWTR Immune Support is the first addition to the bottled water brand since its launch in 2017.

To differentiate it from the original LIFEWTR, the LIFEWTR Immune Support’s bottle will feature a blue cap as well as a code-based design from Zach Lieberman, an artist and educator who works with computer graphics and human-computer innovation.

LIFEWTR Immune Support will be available in packs of 1l bottles at retailers located across the US market.

PepsiCo unveiled the bottled water brand LIFEWTR with new label designs in December 2017.

LIFEWTR is pH-balanced purified water with electrolytes added for taste and comes in three design varieties under series one.

Designed by emerging artists, the labels are expected to be a platform for broader artist discovery.

The series one labels were designed by artists Momo, Craig & Karl and Jason Woodside.

LIFEWTR featured a sports cap and was rolled out across the US in 700ml and 1l capacities in February 2017.
