Nutritional Growth Solutions (NGS) has signed a vendor agreement with Independent Medical Co-op (IMCO) to bring its paediatric nutritional shake called Healthy Height to the US medical market.

The agreement provides NGS with access to IMCO’s healthcare network and its platforms for the distribution of the patented protein shake. Both entities also agreed to start a joint campaign to increase product awareness among IMCO’s member network.

According to NGS, Healthy Height, developed by paediatricians, clinically shows improvements in children’s height.

It is gluten-free, soy-free and contains no GMOs. One Healthy Height serving will include 12g whey protein and 350mg of the essential amino acid arginine.

The product is also low in sugar and sodium.

Speaking of the development, NGS managing director Liron Fendell said: “The US is a key growth market for NGS. Having access to IMCO’s established distribution network, coupled with their 40 years of accumulated expertise in sales and marketing, provides a new significant sales pathway to complement our existing online channel for marketing our products.”

Healthy Height should be available for distribution in the first quarter of this year.

Recently, NGS acquired KidzShake brand from Ausmerica Wellness Services to boost its paediatric targeted product portfolio.

Fendell added: “KidzShake offers a variety of high-quality nutritional drinks for children, including a vegan option. It is a perfect fit for our portfolio.”
