Treehouse Brewing Company, a Massachussets-based firm, is constructing a new brewery in Charlton, US.

The new facility is scheduled to open in 2017.

The 45,000ft2 brewery will feature an advanced 50 BBL brewhouse, as well as a 5,000ft2 retail space where it intends to sell products directly from the brewery.

The retail space will provide can sales, bottle sales, and full pours at least five days a week. The open space pavilion will overlook a tank farm of 60, 120, and 240 BBL fermenters.

It will initially have 30,000 barrels of cellar capacity.

The brewery intends to extend up to 50,000 barrels of cellar space by the end of its first operational year.

On its website, the company has stated: "The intent of the new brewery is to make our beer better than ever, vastly expand our range of offerings, make our core offerings more readily available, and to create a central gathering place of kinship and camaraderie for beer enthusiasts."

The brewery is being designed by Austin Design.

The company stated: "It will be entirely new construction on a parcel of land that is owned by us. This will afford us creative control of the property now and hopefully very far into the future."

The company intends to continue complete operations at its Monson facility until 2017. Following this, Treehouse plans to close down major retail operations and allot that place for special projects.

It claims to have around 10,000 sft to age, condition, blend, and refine both clean oak projects and mixed fermentation creations.

The current 30 BBL brewhouse as well as several 30 BBL tanks for wort creation will continue to operate.

Treehouse’s current Wild Goose canning line, a bottling line, as well as a bottle conditioning and bottling line will continue to function.
