The Winebow Group, a US-based importer and distributor of fine wine and craft spirits, has acquired The Henry Wine Group, based in Benicia, California.

Financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.

With this acquisition, the companies will merge their efforts and operate as The Henry Wine Group in California.

The Winebow Group was set up in 2014 following the merger of The Vintner Group and Winebow.

With the latest acquisition in California, The Winebow Group has increased its distribution network to 20 states, including Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, and Maryland.

The Winebow Group is also purchasing Zephyr Express, a fully owned unit of The Henry Wine Group. 

The Henry Wine Group president and CEO Ed Hogan will continue to manage day-to-day operations.
