Robinsons, an England-based family-run regional brewery, has lined up six new seasonal brews, which will be released throughout 2014.

The six new beers are Hannibal’s Nectar, Hoptimum Prime, Brazilian, Citra Pale Ale, South Island and Indulgence.

Each of the six seasonal handcrafted ales will be available for a limited period of two months.

Hannibal’s Nectar is a 3.9% ABV premium ruby red coloured ale having rich, full bodied and bitter character.

Available only during January and February 2014, Hannibal’s Nectar carries a balance of biscuit malt and burnt toffee flavours, with strong hot palate and aroma of citral American hops.

The 4.1% ABV Hoptimum Prime is made using British hops and barley malts that feature an array of malt and traditional hoppy flavours and crisp dry finish; it will be available in March and April.

For the World Cup season during May and June 2014, the brewery will launch Brazilian, a crisp and clean tasting 4.2% ABV beer that has a full bitter and lemon citrus palate with a lingering green hop finish.

July and August will see the roll out of Citra Pale Ale, a 3.8% ABV pale golden beer that has a vibrant citrus and tropical fruits character derived from the American Citra hop.

Robinsons will unveil South Island throughout September and October.

The 4.2% ABV blonde beer is made using the Nelson Sauvin hops and oozes tropical flavours such as passion fruit, tangerines and grapefruit, and spreads aroma that resembles white wine.

The final brew of the year, Indulgence, will be a mahogany coloured winter warmer that will have right notes with aromas of roasted malt and fruity hops.

To promote and celebrate the launch of the six new seasonal ales, the brewery’s visitor centre in Stockport will give 72 pints of each seasonal beer on the second Thursday of their bi-monthly launch.
