Hensley Beverage Company (HBC) has partnered with Gizmo Beverages to strengthen the distribution of the Tea of a Kind (TOAK) beverage in Arizona, US.

TOAK is a leading player in Arizona’s canned and bottled tea category.

It is also claimed to be the fourth fastest growing brand in this category in the US state.

TOAK was owned by Spike Beverage, which was then acquired by Hensley Beverage Company in the first quarter this year.

"Continuously improving our route to market and aligning with partners that can help us get it in the consumers’ hands is paramount."

HBC non-alcoholic director Jeff Somers said: "We’re proud to have TOAK as a part of the Hensley portfolio and see it as a ground breaking entry into the premium non-alcoholic beverage space."

TOAK has statewide distribution at QuikTrip, Fry’s, Safeway, Albertsons, Bashas’, Food City, A.J’s Fine Foods, and Whole Foods Markets.

With the new distribution agreement, TOAK will be on shelves in Sprouts, Valero Corner Stores, and Giant Convenience Stores.

Gizmo Beverages region vice-president Ryan Burtner said: "The best beverage brands are built through partnerships with strong distributors.

"Consumer demand for our unique proposition is unprecedented. Continuously improving our route to market and aligning with partners that can help us get it in the consumers’ hands is paramount. Hensley is the perfect partner to help us continue this exciting momentum."

TOAK is available in five flavors and is sold across 6,000 stores within ten states in the western US and is retailed for $2.49 to $2.99.

Gizmo Beverages president and cofounder Brad Foster said: "We couldn’t be more excited about the professionalism of the Hensley team and the speed at which they work. This new partnership will continue to push our brand awareness and strengthen sales of ‘Tea of a Kind’ in Arizona."
