Coca-Cola has released its low-calorie beverage sweetened from a blend of stevia and sugar, called Coca-Cola Life, in the UAE.

Stevia is a natural zero-calorie sweetener. It is claimed to be sourced from the best-tasting part of the stevia leaf found in South America.

Coca-Cola Life offers a calorie reduction of around 38%, with 27kcal per 100ml. The new product comes at a price of AED2.5 for both the 330ml bottle and 250ml can.

Coca-Cola Middle East marketing director Tolga Cebe said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Coca-Cola Life in the UAE. Coca-Cola Life is a unique, great-tasting option for those looking for beverages with fewer calories.

Consumers can taste the new beverage via sampling opportunities across the UAE, including at Carrefour Mall of the Emirates, Spinneys Motor City, Union COOP Muhaisanah, and GEANT Yas Mall.
