US-based beverage company Bai Brands has unveiled a new range of carbonated beverages with classic soda flavours, called Bai Black.

The new range includes Kohala Kola, Simbu Citrus, Rioja Root Beer, Jambi Ginger Ale, and Colombia Cream.

Bai Brands claimed that the beverages are prepared with the finest ingredients, such as natural cola, vanilla and sassafras. They also contain antioxidants from the coffee fruit.

"We've created a product that satisfies soda lovers' desire for bold, delicious flavour without the guilt."

Each can consists of five calories, zero grams of sugar, and no artificial sweeteners. The beverages also contain approximately the same amount of caffeine as a cup of green tea.

Bai founder and chief executive officer Ben Weiss said: "Bai was built on larger idea: to change the way the world drinks. As we continue this quest, we are excited to introduce a new line of carbonated beverages that daringly defies convention.

"With Bai Black, we're reinventing the way classic flavours can be consumed. We've created a product that satisfies soda lovers' desire for bold, delicious flavour without the guilt."

Bai Black is a traditional alternative to the bold fruit flavours of Bai Bubbles.

Bai Black will be available from January 2017 in single 11.5 fluid ounce cans at a suggested retail price of $1.99.

The new range is non-genetically modefied organism (GMO) certified, gluten free, kosher, vegan, and soy free.
