MillerCoors’ Crispin Cider is set to launch its new rosé cider in 12oz slim cans from September this year.

Crispin Rosé will be packaged in six-packs that are wrapped in a dusty pink cover.

Crispin Cider associate marketing manager Stephanie Zipp said: “They’re sleek and unapologetically target females, something we’re definitely not shying away from.”

Zipp added that the cans had: “a really clean and modern look, especially when compared to other cider brands.”

“The pink-hued hard cider Crispin Rosé has been produced using rose petals and hibiscus blended with fresh-pressed apples and pears.”

Drinks companies Original Sin, Wölffer and the Anheuser-Busch-owned Virtue currently pack their rosé-branded hard ciders in 330ml cans, while Boston Beer Co’s Angry Orchard is testing slim cans in select markets.

Crispin Rosé’s launch will be supported by ongoing public relations and social media.

Zipp further added: “We fully expect this to be a year-round product. We’ll get a nice boost from it for the remainder of this year, and we’re really excited to see what we can do with it as part of our refreshed lineup in 2019.”
