US-based drinks company Fernhill Beverage has completed negotiations to acquire 100% of Super Buzz Energy Drink, for an undisclosed sum.

Super Buzz Energy Drink is a performance beverage developed particularly for people aged between 15 and 30.

The drink contains a juice-based blend of flavours and ingredients such as L-carnitine, folic acid, vitamins, ginseng and taurine.

Fernhill Beverage CEO Larry Twombly said: “Being the best in a category is Fernhill’s objective. It is the long-term goal of the company to be the driving force in the youth, teen and young adult market. The only way to get there is to offer the very best products possible.

“I feel we are hitting the bullseye with both RK Super and now Super Buzz Energy Drink. Adding quality will ultimately add revenues and profits Fernhill Beverage hopes to add to the portfolio in 2020 perhaps through a strong partnership.”

Super Buzz Energy Drink is currently being offered in a mango and passionfruit flavour followed by other variants that are ready for development.

The drink will be available in a 16oz aluminium can featuring sci-fi themed characters with a bright background.

Super Buzz Energy Drink is retailed at a suggested retail price of $2.49 per unit.

Fernhill anticipates that the completion of the deal would further increase its top-line revenues, as well as bottom-line profits.

Currently, the company has committed to supply the beverage to half of its existing distributors, including those in Mexico.

Going forward, Fernhill intends to use Super Buzz distribution network and introduce those outlets to RK Super Vitamin Packed Kids Drink.
