Coffeebay has launched a line of teas and coffees in the Philippines.

Called Bittersweet, the lineup comprises Brownsugar Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Ristretto Latte, black espresso with lemon drink Cinnamonsugar Sparkling Long Black, and Cinnamonsugar Spanish Latte, which features Spanish condensed milk cream and cinnamon sugar.

Coffeebay is the franchise café brand of Korean company Appletree. It offers more than 30 kinds of beverage and 20 kinds of bakery and dessert products.

The company is claimed to be gaining popularity in Korea and the Philippines by drawing in customers with strong tastes, cost-effective prices and atmosphere. It is also claimed to have a high retention rate and customer transaction from additional sales.

Coffeebay president Baek Jin-Seong said: “When you are planning to open a café, you need to consider the cost first, but to maintain it longer, competitive edges that differentiate your store from others are also essential.

The company has a training system for preliminary store owners. Its locations in the Philippines are located in SM Seaside City Cebu and Cebu IT Park.
