buzzbox, a ready to drink (RTD) cocktail brand, has opened its newly redesigned production facility in Coachella Valley, California, US.

The new 65,000ft² facility will feature packaging equipment for spirit-based RTD cocktails.

More than 45 people will work at the facility to produce cocktail beverages free from chemicals or preservatives.

buzzbox founder and CEO Rod Vandenbos said: “Our newly redesigned manufacturing plant is ready to handle the explosive demand we are seeing for our brand in the marketplace.”

The company’s cocktail beverages are produced using top-shelf spirits and 100% real fruit juices. They are said to be gluten-free, certified kosher and vegan.

buzzbox portfolio comprises nine flavours, which include perfect margarita, classic greyhound, long island, classic cosmo, Cuban mojito, bloody mary, whiskey lemonade, hurricane and vodka lemonade.

The cocktail brand is available in ten US states including California, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, Wisconsin, Los Angeles, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Nevada and the military channel.

Packed in 200ml eco-friendly boxes, buzzbox beverage variants can be purchased for a manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) of $3.49 for single-serve boxes and $12.99 MSRP for four-packs.

Additionally, the company has appointed Wes Tachibana as the brands executive vice-president for sales.

Prior to joining buzzbox, Tachibana served in multiple senior sales roles at Pernod Ricard USA, Seagram and Gallo.
