Canned coffee cocktails maker Cafe Agave is set to expand the distribution footprint of Cafe Agave Spiked Cold Brew, its gourmet coffee cocktail brand, across 25 markets in the US.

With 12.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), the Spiked Cold Brew has been produced using wine, agave sweetener, real dairy cream and a blend of 100% Arabica and Colombian cold-brewed coffee, as well as other natural flavours.

Cafe Agave founder Mark Scialdone said: “As craft is becoming the new norm among millennials and the like, Cafe Agave appeals to and serves an emerging audience of consumers who demand quality ingredients that they believe in.

“We saw the industry’s changing environment as an opportunity to create a product that meets and exceeds customers’ expectations of flavour and quality.”

The gourmet coffee cocktail brand will be distributed across California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, New York, Indiana and Iowa in the US.

In the first and second quarters of next year, the company plans to add another 15 states to its distribution list.

Cafe Agave Spiked Cold Brew will be available in Espresso Shot, Caffe Mocha, Salted Caramel and Vanilla Cinnamon flavours.

Packaged in 6.3oz cans, it is available for purchase in single and four-packs.

The company’s co-founder Ami-Lynn Bakshi said: “Cafe Agave is ready to drink coffee cocktail for all occasions. Unlike the emerging lower abv coffee-beer segment, our spiked coffee is great by itself or mixed. At 12.5% abv, it can be served straight up, as an espresso martini or as the base of many great cocktails.”
