Ardagh Group has renewed its distribution partnership with TricorBraun WinePak, a division of packaging firm TricorBraun.

Under the agreement, TricorBraun WinePak will act as an exclusive wine distributor of Ardagh Group, Glass – North America, a business unit of Ardagh Group and service small and mid-sized wineries in the western half of the US.

Ardagh Group is one of the largest producers of wine bottles in the country.

TricorBraun WinePak regional vice president and general manager Kathy Brooks said: “For small to mid-sized wineries, TricorBraun’s customized service and supply chain expertise combined with Ardagh’s high-quality domestic wine bottle production means economical, creative and sustainable packaging.

The alliance will offer a range service offering to wineries, including premium wine bottles in a variety of colours, sizes, styles and finishes.

It will also offer full decorating services, capsules, STELVIN closures and repacking capabilities.

The companies also intend to provide enhanced custom packaging design and engineering services, and improved customer service support to the wineries.

Ardagh’s North American Glass business unit chief commercial officer John Shaddox said: “TricorBraun WinePak’s extensive sales infrastructure allows Ardagh to further expand its reach to additional wineries in the West.

“With manufacturing facilities and sales teams serving you from the heart of the major North American wine regions, more small and mid-sized wineries can experience the high level of attention, responsiveness and ease that comes with buying from Ardagh through its new alliance with TricorBraun.”
