Anheuser-Busch InBev (A-B InBev) has announced its plans to introduce Estrella Jalisco, a Mexican beer brand, into select markets of the US.

A-B InBev said that it would roll out Estrella Jalisco, a light-flavored beer with 4.5% alcohol by volume (ABV) that was originally brewed in the city of Guadalajara, across ten states this month.

Anheuser-Busch marketing director west region Jorge Inda Meza as quoted by brewbound.com as saying: "Many Mexican and Mexican-Americans have roots in Jalisco, and we’re excited to reunite them with the beer that they, or their relatives, could previously only enjoy in Mexico."

"Estrella Jalisco is a symbol of Mexican pride that evokes rich traditions and history."
