Alcohol manufacturer and distributor Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has announced plans to launch KAH Tequila brand in the US market this year.

It is also taking on the distribution and marketing of the brand across all territories and will be managed in-house.

Amber Beverage Group chief marketing officer Pepijn Janssens said: “Adding KAH to our ever-growing tequila portfolio, reinforcing tequila brands such as Rooster Rojo and Don Camillo, allows us to offer a pyramid of solutions in every market.

“Therefore, we are looking forward to welcoming this award-winning tequila to our brand family.

“We have developed a new bottle for the US market and plan to launch it during 2020. KAH Tequila will keep paying reverence and honour to Mexico and its people and begins its journey in our own tequila distillery, Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, where each bottle is hand-crafted.”

KAH has been created to honour Mexican people and their traditions.

It is available in four different expressions including Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo, with each said to have been produced using hand-selected 100% Blue Agave.

It is produced by Fabrica de Tequilas Finos in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, which is owned by Amber Beverage Group.

In January this year, ABG secured a loan facility from Swiss banking group Credit Suisse.

A loan facility of €27m will be used by the beverage company to improve its operations and also for its expansion.
