Odell Brewing, a US-based craft brewery, is set to bring back its Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout on 25 and 26 January 2014.

The 8.5% ABV Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout is an imperial stout that is brewed using milk chocolate and milk sugar.

Each batch uses around 250lb of milk chocolate, which is then mixed with milk sugar, and then added directly into the wort in the kettle and is subjected to heat.

The heat melts the sugar and chocolate, and results in a creamy brew that tastes like a cold glass of chocolate milk.

To re-release the brew, Odell Brewing has partnered with local dairy, Cozy Cow, reported Brewbound.

The brewery invites people to its tap room on 25 January 2014 to taste the Lugene beer along with Cozy Cow ice cream.

Odell Brewing will officially launch the Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout in April 2014 in its distribution network of 11 states.

The imperial stout will be offered on draft and in four packs, just like its Double Pilsner, Myrcenary and Mountain Standard brews.

In addition to Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout, the brewery also produces brews such as Easy Street Wheat, Runoff, Celastrina, 5 Barrel Pale Ale, Tree Shaker, Isolation Ale, Roots Release, IPA, 90 Shilling Ale, Loose Leaf and others.
