Attitude Beer Holding (ABH) subsidiary Harrison Vickers has selected the operating and marketing units of World of Beer to manage its taverns in Connecticut and Massachusetts in the US.

Under the deal, World of Beer will take over the taverns’ daily operations, which will focus on improving efficiency and top line sales.

In addition, Harrison Vickers will no longer have to pay a 9% royalty fee for the taverns, which was previously paid under an agreement with NEWOB.

“World of Beer will take over the taverns’ daily operations, which will focus on improving efficiency and top line sales.”

The new deal has enabled World of Beer to become an equity partner in both the West Hartford Connecticut and Cambridge Massachusetts tavern operations.

ABH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harrison, Vickers and Waterman (HVCW).

Harrison Vickers CEO Jeff Canouse said: “This transaction puts our taverns on much firmer footing. The increased efficiencies from the experienced operators and marketers at World of Beer, along with the significant economic improvement to our bottom line, should position the company well for the coming year and beyond.”

ABH also owns the World of Beer franchising rights to Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, including the greater Boston area.
