Canada-based Waterloo Brewing (WBR) has introduced Seagram White Peach Cider, a new seasonal drink that will complement the company’s Seagram Craft Apple Cider.

The 100%-natural beverage is based on the similar recipe of Seagram Craft Apple Cider.

It is produced from Ontario apples and fermented with champagne yeast, offering customers a refreshing flavour twist.

At 5.3% alcohol-by-volume, White Peach Cider is said to be the ideal choice for warm-weather occasions. The new cider is gluten-free and has no added preservatives.

Waterloo Brewing marketing director Kim Mannerow said: “Peach pairs so well with warm weather. It is a hugely popular summer flavour for good reason. Our new cider reminds you of biting into a fresh-picked, full-flavoured white peach.

“We’ve also taken the opportunity to refresh our cider packaging, launching with White Peach Cider – it’s so eye-catching, these cans won’t sit on shelves long.”

Seagram White Peach Cider is now available in 473ml cans at the Waterloo Brewing store, 400 Bingemans Centre Drive, Kitchener, in Ontario, Canada.

The new seasonal cider will be available at the LCBO and select grocers’ shelves in mid-to-late April.

Waterloo Brewing sales and key accounts vice-president Jim Manz said: “We believe White Peach is the perfect complement to our Seagram Craft Apple Cider, which has proven to be a favourite with Ontario consumers.”
