Yolo Rum has expanded its line of premium spirits with Yolo Rum Clear in the US.

Joining Gold and Silver varieties, the new rum is claimed to be of boutique-quality.

Yolo Rum's founder Philip Guerin said: "For a long time now, we've wanted to produce an affordable, connoisseur-worthy rum blend.

"And Don Pancho has once again knocked it out of the park."

Yolo Rum Gold involves a 10-year ageing process, which imparts a rich, tawny colour and smooth buttery taste. Yolo Rum Silver is aged for two years and Yolo Rum Clear is claimed to be a bridge between the two, ideal for mixing or solo consumption, with a smooth, lightly smoked sweet-oak taste.

All Yolo Rums are gluten free and contain no added sugar or molasses, as well as no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.

The company claims its products are produced using environmentally sustainable processes.

Yolo Rum has secured several awards for its drinks including gold medals at the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival. The rums are prepared by master distiller Francisco ‘Don Pancho’ Fernandez.

Born in Cuba and operating out of the Republic of Panama, Don Pancho is a recipient of several awards.
