Drinks Americas, a Connecticut-based firm that develops, owns, markets and internationally distributes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, has signed a state-wide distribution deal with Tyron Distributing, Tryon Distributing, a North Carolina-based distributor of fine wines and beers.

Under the deal, Tyron will distribute the premium authentic Mexican beer brand, Day Of The Dead Craft Beer, in the state.

Day Of The Dead Beer is owned and produced by Cerveceria Mexicana.

The distributor will depend on its 92,000ft² air conditioned distribution centre and company-owned fleet of temperature controlled trucks to meet the distribution needs of Drinks Americas.

Tyron Distributing president Brad Johnston said, "We received Day Of The Dead Craft Beer on October 24th and in five sales days we had over 400 cases in over 100 accounts."

Tryon Distributing beer brand manager Chris Angel said, "We at Tryon are very excited about representing a craft brewery from Mexico such a Day of the Dead. The package catches the eye and the liquid pleases the taste buds."

Drinks Americas serves as US broker for premium authentic Mexican beers, which are currently present in over 32 US states.

In addition to Day of the Dead, Drinks Americas’ portfolio of premium Mexican beer brands include Mexicali, Rio Bravo, Red Pig and Chili Beer.
