US-based Eastside Distilling has partnered with grocery giant Publix to sell its Redneck Riviera Whiskey in 273 stores throughout Florida.

Under the partnership, select stores will begin carrying Redneck Riviera American blended whiskey with immediate effect. By the end of January, all 273 locations are expected to stock the product.

Eastside Distilling president Robert Manfredonia said: “We are very excited to be working with Publix’s in Florida and to continue to grow this great American brand.

“We believe this exciting whiskey is a natural fit for the state of Florida. The addition of Publix to our national platform is key to solidifying our national distribution of Redneck Riviera, now available in 40 states nationwide.”

Eastside Distilling notes that along with the continued launch of the blended whiskey product, the nation-wide distribution foundation will enable the company to distribute its other growing brands as part of its 2020 forward strategy.

The brands include the company’s recently acquired Azuñia Tequila and its organic lineup, Hue-Hue Coffee Rum and Burnside whiskeys, as well as bourbon.

Eastside Distilling collaborated with multi-platinum country-music artist John Rich for the Redneck Riviera Whiskey.

Eastside Distilling’s additional products include Portland Potato Vodkas and a line of fruit-infused spirits, crafted from natural ingredients for quality and taste.

Recently, the company has secured two working capital facilities to continue to execute its business plans.

With a maximum borrowing capacity of $4m, the two facilities will provide additional liquidity and flexibility to Eastside Distilling for its plans.
