Vahdam Teas has secured $5m of funding through a Series B round led by Fireside Ventures.

Founded in 2015, Vahdam Teas is an online tea-selling platform, while Fireside Ventures is an investment platform for consumer brands.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in India.

Quench has completed an acquisition of all rental assets of Quality Water Services.

Based in the US, Quench provides filtered water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers and coffee brewers to customers in the US and Canada. AquaVenture serves as an operating platform for Quench.

Quality Water Services is a point-of-use water filtration company based in the US.

The transaction involves the addition of approximately 1,200 rental and service units and more than 500 new clients to Quench’s installed asset base in Seattle market.

Quench has also announced the divestment of all of the assets of its Atlas High Purity Solutions unit to East Range Partners.

Paradise Beverages has entered a new distribution agreement with Young’s Market Company.

Under the deal, Young’s Market Company will distribute Paradise rums in the west coast state of California. It will also provide a range of Ratu and Bati rums to its on and off-premise customers based in California.

The rum products are produced under the Rum Co of Fiji label.

Paradise Beverages is Coca-Cola Amatil’s Fiji division, while Young’s Market Company is a wines and spirits distributor based in the US.

Lavazza has entered an agreement to acquire Flavia tabletop machines and Klix free-standing vending machine systems from Mars.

Established in 1895, Lavazza is a coffee products provider based in Italy.

Lavazza will also acquire the coffee business of Mars in North America, Germany, the UK, France, Canada and Japan, as well as associated systems and production facilities in the UK and the US.

The transaction will enable Lavazza to combine its offerings in the coffee market by focusing on its away-from-home business.
