Clase Azul Spirits has unveiled a new company structure as it looks to expand its presence in the US.

The spirits brand manufactures Clase Azul and Clase Azul Mezcal tequilas, which are available in Mexico, Canada, the US, Europe, the UK, Korea, El Salvador, Guatemala and Australia.

Under the new structure, Clase Azul Spirits will operate independently of former agency Chopin Imports.

Clase Azul Spirits’ founder and CEO Arturo Lomeli said: “In order for us to continue offering one of the finest tequilas in the world to our clients old and new, we require a team solely dedicated to Clase Azul, focusing on our luxury strategy and facilitating our growth and expansion within the US.”

This latest development follows the recent appointments of Dana Chandler as chief security officer (CSO) and executive vice-president (EVP), Lowell Supran as Eastern division vice-president, and Joshua Scott as sales central division vice-president. The company also recently hired top-tier officials, including a new executive vice-president (EVP) and chief strategy officer (CSO).

In their new roles, they will spearhead sales efforts as Clase Azul expands its footprint across the US.

As part of the expansion, Clase Azul Spirits increased its sales, marketing and executive teams in markets such as New York City, Los Angeles and Miami.

Clase Azul Spirits’ president Juan Sanchez said: “We are thankful for the past three years working alongside Tad Dorda and Chopin Imports, and will remain forever grateful for the opportunities they have afforded us.”
