Bacardi’s brand BOMBAY SAPPHIRE has expanded its offerings portfolio with the launch of BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® & TONIC, a ready-to-drink (RTD) alcoholic beverage.

The company claims that its new variant offers its consumers a balanced gin and tonic beverage in an RTD format.

BOMBAY SAPPHIRE global vice-president Natasha Curtin said: “Following the successful launch in Europe earlier this year, I am pleased to announce the latest addition to our growing portfolio, which hits shelves nationwide in April 2021.

“We’re extremely proud to say that we’ve created an RTD befitting the Bombay Saphire name in terms of taste, quality and ingredients. We look forward to shaking up this category with sophisticated options that promise to be unrivalled when it comes to taste.”

The new RTD variant offers a combination of vapour-infused London Dry Gin and tonic water.

Packed in a sleek can with a matte finish, the packaging is said to have been carefully designed to preserve the standard of the service both on-shelf and once purchased.

The company claims that the material helps protect the liquid from sunlight, keeping it fresher and colder for longer and is 100% recyclable.

Beginning from this month, the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® & TONIC will be available across all major retail outlets in the US.

It will be available for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $12.99 per four-pack.

Additionally, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® & TONIC will be available in a more mindful option called BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® & LIGHT TONIC, containing only 90kcal in each serving and with zero sugar.

Both variants are said to be free of artificial flavours or colours.
