Argentina’s Algodon Wines & Luxury Development has partnered with US-based wine and spirits purveyor Wally’s Wine and Spirits to expand the distribution of its Malbec wines in California, US.

Established in 1968, Wally’s Wine and Spirits was acquired by denim lifestyle brand Guess founders Paul and Maurice Marciano in 2013 alongside wine therapist Christian Navarro.

Wally’s Wine and Spirits president and principal Christian Navarro said: “Algodon’s portfolio of award-winning premium wines is an exciting addition to our wine offering.

“When adding new wines to our stores, we look for the highest quality, most exclusive products we can acquire, which we found in Algodon’s Malbec portfolio.

“We believe their Malbec wines will be popular with our highly discerning customer base, who are always looking to sample new, high-quality wines.”
