Honeydrop, a US-based beverage company that sells high-pressure processed, cold-pressed lemonades, has begun distributing its lemonades at 250 outlets of Sprouts  Farmers Market, a retailer selling natural foods.

Sprouts' outlets are spread across 13 states in the US including California and Georgia.

Sprouts will feature six Honeydrop stock keeping units including cayenne, turmeric and charcoal lemonades.

"The drinks are blended with honey and other ingredients to help calm nerves and boost immunity systems."

Each of these beverages are prepared with honey sourced from local farms.

Honeydrop founder David Luks was quoted by Bevnet.com as saying: “If you look at cold-pressed juices, clearly pricing is going down in the category, as scale is going up, as supply efficiency is going up.

“To offer 10oz or 12oz products at $3.99 or below, I’ve spoken to enough retailers, especially more mass ones, that are more interested in that [price point] versus offering them at $4.99-$6.99 and when you’re selling in cities that are not Boston or New York City.”

With this new deal, Honeydrop’s drinks will be available now at over 2,000 stores across the US, including at retailers such Fairway, Central Market and Mrs. Greens.
