Wirtz Beverage Group, a division of Chicago-based Wirtz Corporation and distributor of premium wine, spirits and beer brands, has selected SaaS Inventory Analytics Solution from Blue Ridge to expand sustainable inventory and business.

The beverage group was looking out for a solution to increase their demand forecasting, planning and replenishment decisions and identify and prevent supply issues by capitalizing on customer’s wealth and inventory insights.

Wirtz Beverage Group business operations vice president and general manager Don Pydo said the Visibility Analytics solution allows them to take control of their product demand forecasts and inventory replenishment process.

"The flexibility to create custom reports and dashboards has revealed opportunities to improve inventory performance and most importantly excel at servicing our customers," Pydo added.

Blue Ridge’s solution also offers services like reporting and predictive business analysis, which would help Wirtz manage its logistics and replenishments.

Pydo said if their replenishment buyers are operating with total awareness, then that allows them to do their job quicker and more effectively.

"By that same token, with Analytics, management is better positioned to understand the reason behind current happenings, react accordingly, and make the appropriate strategy adjustments to assure our customers’ needs are met without inflating inventory levels," Pydo added.
