Watershed Distillery, an Ohio-based micro distillery producing local spirits, has selected an advertising, public relations and brand strategy agency – RMD Advertising – to grow its sales and brand awareness in the region.

Effective from 1 April 2013, RMD serves as agency of record for Watershed Distillery, which is relying on social media and public relations strategies to increase the business.

Established in 2010 by founders and owners Greg Lehman and Dave Rigo, the Watershed Distillery mainly concentrates on the production of vodka, gin and bourbon.

The Ohio-based digital agency will use its integrated approach by using public relations and social media to increase both consumer and business-to-business awareness of Watershed Distillery and its products such as Four Peel Gin, Bourbon Barrel Gin, Watershed Vodka and Bourbon.

RMD Advertising managing partner brand strategy Sue Reninger said the company is happy to have Watershed Distillery in its emerging food brand portfolio.

Watershed Distillery joins RMD’s portfolio including Panera Bread, TGI Friday’s, Allens, Rudolph Foods, Bil-Jac Foods, Tandoor Chef and Dei Fratelli.
