Vinopolis, a London-based commercial visitor attraction operated by Wineworld London, has partnered with interactive technology specialists Arcstream AV and brand communication expert EMG to transform its visitor attraction and events venue.

As part of its multi-million pound investment for redesigning the venue, Vinopolis has deployed AV, designed by EMG and installed by Arcstream AV, which takes visitors through the grapes, regions and wines across the world.

The installation includes touchtables, touchscreens and projectors alongside a PufferSphere XL, where visitors can learn about the geography of wine on the 360 degree projection globe.

Three 42 inches digital signage screens in the reception area and four Samsung SUR40 screens for Microsoft Surface tables in two tasting zones are also added to the venue, reported incentivetravel.co.uk.

The tasting zones are installed with 18 x 22 inches Ilyama Dual Touchscreens and electronic wine dispensers that allow visitors to enjoy interactive wine tasting experience.

The venue also contains two education zones called ‘the Winery,’ where visitors can create their own wine.

Vinopolis managing director Lucy Haines told the website that they are happy to redevelop the space that is technology based.

"This is just the start of the project and we’re excited about how these new installations have the functionality for us to customise them for specific events, brands or the visitor experience in the future," Haines added.

The venue is currently available for hire for private functions and corporate events.
