Total Beverage Solution (TBS), a South Carolina-based beverage alcohol importer and supplier, has expanded its portfolio of beer, wine and spirits with the addition of four new spirits brands, including a whisky, a brandy and two liqueurs.

The four new spirits brands include McIvor Finest Scotch Whisky, Amaro Montenegro, Vecchia Romagna and Dolce Nero.

The move by TBS is part of its plan to increase the spirits offerings alongside the strong beer and wine brands.

Introduced into the US market in 2007 by TBS after acquiring US/Canadian import rights from Berniko, the McIvor Finest Scotch Whisky brand includes two blends – McIvor 12yo and McIvor 17yo.

First produced in Bologna, Italy, in 1885, Amaro Montenegro is an Italian herbal liqueur with sweet and bitter notes and is ideal as a cocktail ingredient.

Vecchia Romagna is an Italian brandy with around 200yr-old history and complements the Italian offerings that TBS currently carries.

Made using fine Italian espresso beans, the Dolce Nero liqueur is ideal for making espresso.

Total Beverage Solution CEO Dave Pardus said as one of a very small number of beverage companies that competes in all three industry segments, the addition of these new spirits instantly elevates their portfolio.

"Spirits previously represented less than 10% of our revenue, but these brands add roughly 30,000 nine-liter cases of ongoing business to our spirits volume," Pardus added.
