Tennessee-based Prichard’s Distillery is set to open its second distillery at the historic Fontanel in Nashville, Tennessee by spring 2013.

Located near downtown Nashville, the Fontanel is a 136-acre property that was previously owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Barbara Mandrell.

The property houses a 27,000ft² Fontanel Mansion, Woods Amphitheater, Studio Gallery, Fontanella Restaurant, Silo Gift Shop, The Trails and the upcoming distillery.

Prichard’s first distillery at 11 Kelso Smithland Rd, Tennessee was established in 1997 and since then it has been producing wide variety of whiskeys, bourbons, rums and liqueurs from all-natural ingredients that are distilled in smaller charred white oak casks.

The distillery currently distributes its products to 48 states in the US and eight countries in the Europe.

Prichard’s Distillery proprietor Phil Prichard said their new distillery will be beneficial to the company, Fontanel and Nashville area.

"We look forward to seeing all of our old friends at the Fontanel Mansion, and introducing lots of new friends to our fine line of hand crafted distilled spirits," Prichard added.

Fontanel co-owner Marc Oswald said they waited for long period to partner with a craft distillery at Fontanel.

"We are beyond delighted with what the future holds for our two companies and the co-promotional opportunities the partnership represents," he said.
