Prelag

Prelag Partners, a US-based firm that develops software applications for different industries, has integrated its cloud-based mobile restaurant point of sale application – Next Gen Dine – with Bonzi Beverage Management System to allow alcohol serving establishments the ability to control their alcohol pours.

The system allows restaurants and bar operator to measure the exact meter pours, track inventory depletions, monitor over-pours and waste, and fine-grain ingredient control on mixed beverages, while pouring beer, wine and spirits to their customers.

As both the systems are cloud-based, sharing of real-time information between the two systems allows owners and managers to match sales data from the point of sale application with pour data from the beverage management system.

The integrated system also allows the owners to see the quantity of alcohol being consumed by the customer, type of alcohol consumed, amount being paid by the customer and the amount being paid by the establishment on that inventory.

Currently available for iPad, the Next Gen Dine point of sale application allows bartenders to take customer orders directly at the table and send them instantly to appropriate prep station.

It also makes customers comfortable by allowing them to make payments through credit cards right at the table.

The Next Gen Dine application is soon expected to be available on Android and Windows Surface platforms.
