MoMT

Online retailer Master of Malt (MoM) has introduced four new whiskies as the second batch from the ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company,’ an independent bottling label launched by MoM in September 2012.

The four whiskies are the product of four different Speyside distilleries after whom they are named – BenRiach, Aberlour, Aultmore and Benrinnes.

All the four expressions are made from a blend of casks from a single distillery and are bottled without age statements.

Each of the four bottles feature different cult comic book style labels bearing various stories and in-jokes associated with the distilleries and the people connected to them.

Aberlour is a 54.6% ABV expression with fruity and mouth filling palate and notes of ginger, barley and bitter dark chocolate and hints of smoke, whereas 53.4% ABV Aultmore possesses notes of greengages, citrus peels and vanilla oak.

The 48.2% ABV BenRiach is soft with red cherries, strawberry coulis and a pinch of peat, whereas 48.9% ABV Benrinnes possesses sprinkling of cinnamon and nutmeg and aroma of stewing peaches and lychees.

All the four expressions are available in 500ml bottles at a retail price of £43.95, £34.95, £49.95 and £43.95, respectively.
